Dreaming of Traveling Round the World

So far my sights are set on the Philippine scenery and adventure, and I have never ventured outside these Philippine borders. My cousins, who are also travel junkies, encourage me to expand my horizon at least to Southeast Asia first, then slowly inch my way to mainland Asia, then India, Europe, Africa, and then the two Americas. I guess that would complete my rounding the world.

On top of my destinations on each country will be their beaches. I would sample every beach there is in this beautiful planet; Mediterranean beaches in Europe, Miami Beach in North America, Zanzibar in Africa, and a whole lot more.

What a grandiose plan! I can barely pay airfare around the country unless Cebu Pacific will have a seat sale! But let me indulge on such wishful thinking. ~ Dreamy Astrud Gilberto songs in the background ~

Let me just sit back and think what to prepare before I venture into such a huge undertaking.

I guess what I need to come up first is the budget and the destination. I searched for a travel directory online and found a lot. Tourism is a big business so I wasn’t surprised there were lots of sites offering their services. I guess I will need this by the time I will really commit myself in international travel.

As I would for certain be in a tight budget, I would go for the affordable accommodations, and cheap mode of transportations. If there’s an international seat sale from any airline that would be perfect.

I would have to bear in mind that in my travel, I should be safe always, but not necessarily keep myself from enjoying and have fun and adventure.
