Bantayan Food

I love Bantayan not only because of it’s beaches, but also because of its cheap Bantayan Food - nukus, buwad, guso seafood.

When me and my gang went there, we feasted on buwad or dried fish, fishbones, nukus or squid, kinhason or clams, gusô (I don’t know what’s the English equivalent) and those big mollusks whose shells are used by babaylans in the distant past serving as trumpets. I think you know what I mean if you studied Araling Panlipunan. Hehehehe.

Of course in every Pinoy, big, and hearty meal, softdrinks would never be absent.

Here’s a close-up view of the fishbones and squid.

If you’re wondering what’s on that orange basin, no it’s not lumpia. No it’s not chicken either. It’s camote, a rootcrop.

Ok I just made myself hungry. Let me go eat. Ciao!
