I, Credit Card

Saturday, August 7th, 2010

credit_cards[1] I really wondered if it would benefit me to get credit cards? I know it will be useful here in Cebu as most establishments and especially restaurants accept credit cards already. But will it be useful when I travel around the Philippines? What about if I go to mountain places like Sagada, Baguio, or remote places like Basilan or Batanes?

I asked myself a lot of times if I do need it. I have debated and made soliloquy plays in my head much to my realization that I am slowly turning into a crazy person. Only crazy people make plays inside their head.

Waves Update!

Saturday, July 10th, 2010

Surf's Up in Siargao!

It looks like the Habagat season is taking over.

My friends all over Cebu and Bohol alerted me that we are getting big waves together with the “unos” or wind gusts. Waves are getting stronger in Liloan for the past few weeks, but is still relatively flat in Argao.

Now I am stowing my skateboard to the obscure corners as I am bringing out my skimboard. I can not wait to try out the tricks I learned on skateboard using a skimboard. I hope it would be pretty much the same and easy.

Ramblings

Sunday, May 30th, 2010

One of the games I found amusing in the city I live is the video carera machine. It is a horse betting game wherein you would bet on the most probable horse that will win. It is an electronic horse racing betting though, so I don’t exactly understand why a lot of the tambays get hooked to it.

Cebu Blog Camp 2010

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

I wish I was there.

A lot of my friends both online and in the real world went to the not-so-many FREE opportunity that can help you improve your blog.

I heard they learned a lot of lessons, and even one of my officemate was inspired after attending it. She said she’s going to blog as much as she can.

One of the questions I asked from my blogger friend was if they got some lectures from an seo company who taught lessons about optimizing blogs. She said she was late so she didn’t exactly know if there was, but she enjoyed a talk about enriching your blog’s content.

A Brush of Elections 2010

Personal Experience

I did not get to vote, and I was very disappointed.

I considered myself lucky that my rest day fell on a Sunday and Monday that time, so I had the opportunity to go back to my province where I can vote. After soaking in Panglao beach that Sunday with my brother and friends, we made a rundown as to who are the people we were going to vote.

Sinulog 2010 festivities was last January, so this is a late post. Lol.

I had a great time with my friends. We went to see the parade, saw the different contingents dancing on the streets, elbowed a lot of people, and sometimes danced to the tune of the happy bands.
