Trans-Central Highway of Balamban, Cebu. The road is not that quite difficult, but there were lots of accidents that happened along the highway or should I say, down to the ravines below. The last publicized accident involved Iranian medical students that went on a field trip. It killed 21 students and tourists as the bus went off the road down to the ravine as it lost its brakes. With that freaky accident as a reminder for us to be careful, I took all the precaution and climbed up a cliff without harness or anything. And yes I ended up tumbling down about 15 feet of the cliff I scaled down to the road gutter. The full account of that foolishness here. (more…)

Hundreds of hundreds of bikers participated in the Night Ride Cebu for the Earth Hour 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM last March 26, 2011. Me and Kiba were among those about 800 plus participants. We made sure we would be part of this big event!
