False Tsunami Alarm in Cebu City Causing Panic

Hundreds of people were running about in the major thoroughfares of Cebu City. From Osmeña boulevard, Colon street, IT Park, Apas, and several more, people were in pandemonium: running in this direction to another; like a scene in an action-packed movie.

Every single UP campus I’ve been to has its own version of Oble. It has been the symbol of the University of the Philippines for academic freedom; bare naked body with open arms – signifying the humbleness to receive knowledge in its entirety.

This visit to UP Miagao was long overdue. I’ve been planning for over five years until its fruition. As a student of UP Cebu, I’ve been eyeing all the UP Visayas campuses for a visit. :) CLICK ME to continue reading
