A Good Resort in Guimaras

After goofing around, we went to Villa Igang, a resort in Guimaras. They have an entrance fee of a hundred bucks.

about 25 kilometers from Jordan port, Guimaras

But their beach is just a fraction of it. I wasn’t impressed on their beach front, so we explored their beach resort more. We were told that it’s their caves they take pride of, so we went on a little scouting and lo, on the other side, there were caves yawning out of boredom as nobody visited them.

During low tide, you could see a greenish lagoon surrounding the caves. You need to wade across some of those pools. You have to be careful though as the rocks are sharp, and when the tide is coming in, strong current might sweep you away. When high tide comes, the caves are flooded and difficult to be explored.

When reaching to the other side, you’ll be delighted with the caves they have.

Villa Igang Resort does not only boasts of its caves, but of its scenic cliffs and clear waters below that entices you to jump.

And jump we did.

Villa Igang Resort is a better place than the more popular Raymen beach resort, another Guimaras beach. I had a bad experience in Raymen a few years back, but it’s another heart-break story.

So if you are looking for a resort in Guimaras, better head off to Villa Igang Resort. :)
