Summer is almost over, and I am near satisfied. I could say I beached around the Visayas region (well actually just Cebu and Bohol) and I could say Panglao still has the best beach!
Flatland/inland Skimming
When we arrived there, it was about to go low tide so instead of taking pictures, I took a dip right away. Enjoyment is the first priority, not this blog. Lol.
Panglao beaches has the best flat skimming because of these two reasons: a very fine sand, and the sand bar very even.
If you haven’t been to Panglao, let me describe to you what the sand looks and feels like. Its fineness is comparable to talc, or to a baby powder. I’m not exaggerating. It’s really smooth that you could apply it to your skin and rub it all over your body without the feel of roughness or sand-ness.
Taking a Dip
The sand bar being even, you could run anywhere — be it parallel or across the beach but still the water is below your knees. Good for skimming, but not too good if you really want to submerge under water. You have to go far from the shore towards the blue part where it could reach five feet. So make sure to lookup the high tide time in the Calendar when you decide to hit the beach if you want it deep.
Here’s some of our pics.

Looks like a fabulous place to spend time. We’re just now beginning to enjoy Spring, so sorry to hear your summer is over. Our is ahead of us. Officially it will be here in a few weeks, and I can’t wait. The winter’s been particularly long, cold, and ugly.
Sandy
Thanks for featuring Bohol again! You always make me feel happy every time you do it! LOL

@eric hindi ka magsasawa dun!
@June Zach yep Bolod is the place to be
I’ve been to Dumaluan and BBC but I haven’t been to this beach yet. Do they have facilities/amenities for overnight stay?

Bolod beach itself doesn’t have amenities for an overnight stay as they only have open cottages. At its left, there’s a 2 storey house with about 4 rooms, each room may accomodate up to 4 for an overnight stay. At its right, there’s Whites and Greens resort which has aircon and non-aircon rooms.
It’s walking distance from BBC or Dumaluan, it’s near its coastline.
