How to Get to Miag-ao From IloIlo

You need to go to Iloilo Terminal market and look for Southern Iloilo bound jeepneys. They’re locally known as ‘supers’. The travel time to Miag-ao is about 45 minutes, and you can stop right beside the Miag-ao Church. The fare is about P40.

The Miag-ao Church

It is a UNESCO world heritage site – an instrument of culture and learning for peoples across the world to respect and understand each other. This treasure of Iloilo is an Augustinian baroque Church. The façade has obvious impressions and sculptures, a feature of the baroque style.

 Miag-ao Muncipal Hall

As most towns in the Philippines, the Church, plaza, and the municipal hall are just near each other. Miag-ao is not an exception. Just a block away, you could see the municipal hall already.

At the back of Miag-ao’s Church, there are tricycles parking that can bring you to U.P. Miag-ao’s campus.
