Before I wondered how to spell Iloilo. I usually spell it with a dash: Ilo-ilo or with a space: Ilo ilo. Due to my OCiness, I can’t stand ambiguity so I consulted the web and Ilonggas. They told me it’s without a dash and without a space.
I couldn’t help but grin everytime I come here. The singsong tone of the Hiligaynons as they speak always strikes a funny bone. It amuses me in a good way. A friend once told another friend from Bacolod, “Please speak in your language because that makes you more adorable and cute!” I couldn’t agree more.
They said Ilonggas are very pretty, so me and my buddy went out for a night-out and see what Iloilo’s nightlife could offer.
Luckily, he was a med student in Iloilo and he had lots and lots of you know, holy-moly!-is-she-an-actress? classmates. Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of them as I sit there dumbfounded with jaws dropped.
After a while walking the block of Smallville – a favorite hangout and night party place in Iloilo which of course became my favorite too – I saw the Blog Awards 2010 banner and remembered what I was doing there.
I was attending the Iloilo Blogging Summit 2010! Getting distracted is a big problem for me; it has made me forget that I have a camera ergo I don’t have pictures with the girls I could have bragged I met and two, that I could have attended the blog awards night and get to meet all the who’s who in the blogging community. Oh well. Good thing I had a great time goofing around Guimaras and visiting Villa Igang there.
Anyway, I ended up somewhere in Iloilo with this last picture and then I think I passed out after that. Or was it somebody else?

Haven’t been to Iloilo (yey spelled it right!) but been wanting to visit the place. I love Bacolod and the way people talk there though. Would be visiting the UP campus for sure when I get the chance to go Iloilo
