Bantayan, Cebu is the place for a leisure, island-living kind of getaway. Plenty of sun and sand, and beautiful islands too. The best time of the year is during the Lenten season when people from the cities mob this place to enjoy their holidays. There’s party every night. Every dawn there are a lot of wasted people sprawled across the beach strip. And of course every day during the entire week, a lot of people swim, play, and chill on the beach, transforming it to a mini-Boracay.

In Sta. Fe, the most famous and affordable beach is Sugar beach, so called for its fine sand, likened to the fineness of sugar.

Aside from tourism in Bantayan, another source of livelihood is poultry. So if you go inland, there may be inconveniences most particularly the smell as you go along the road.

Despite that, Bantayan is blessed with beautiful mornings and dramatic sunsets.
